The GPEX Awards Presentation was held on 13 June 2026 from 9.30 a.m. to 11.15 a.m. at the CLPHS Small Hall. The event was organised to recognise and celebrate students’ outstanding achievements in the Cambridge English Qualifications examinations.
Among the distinguished guests in attendance were YB Syerleena Abdul Rashid, Mr Bryan Teow, Managing Director of GPEX, and Dr Ooi, Vice Principal (Academic Affairs) of Chung Ling Private High School. Their presence added significance to the occasion and reflected strong support for educational excellence.
During the ceremony, Vice Principal Dr Ooi delivered a speech expressing his appreciation to GPEX and Cambridge University Press & Assessment (CUP) for their continued collaboration and support in promoting English language education. He highlighted the importance of such partnerships in providing students with opportunities to excel in internationally recognised qualifications.
The school also celebrated its remarkable achievements in the Cambridge English Qualifications examinations. Out of 288 candidates, 40 students attained Grade A. In addition, the school recorded the highest number of Grade A achievers among all participating centres, a testament to the dedication and hard work of both students and teachers.
The event concluded successfully with the presentation of awards and certificates to the recipients, marking another significant milestone in the school’s pursuit of academic excellence.
