In order to enhance students’ English communication skills, cultivate teamwork, and foster a greater interest in English literature and public speaking, the school held the 2026 English Choral Speaking Final Competition on 29 June 2026. The event provided a valuable platform for qualified classes to showcase their language proficiency, creativity, and stage performance skills, while promoting interaction and healthy competition among students.
Following several rounds of intense preliminary competitions, the finalist teams successfully earned their places in the grand final. On the day of the competition, each team delivered an outstanding performance, demonstrating impressive English proficiency, excellent teamwork, and remarkable stage presence. Their captivating presentations created a vibrant and memorable English artistic showcase for both teachers and students.
Throughout the competition, each team brought its chosen theme to life through well-coordinated voices, expressive intonation, and synchronised movements.
Besides displaying accurate pronunciation, clear articulation, and effective rhythm, the participants creatively incorporated formation changes, facial expressions, props, and imaginative staging to enhance the overall impact of their performances. The students performed with confidence, enthusiasm, and commitment, reflecting the dedication and hard work they had invested throughout their preparation. Their impressive performances were met with enthusiastic applause from the audience.
The panel of judges evaluated each performance based on pronunciation and accuracy, vocal expression, overall coordination, stage presence, creativity, and teamwork. At the conclusion of the competition, the judges provided constructive feedback, commending the participants for their dedication and progress while offering valuable suggestions to further strengthen their English communication and public speaking skills.
The competition not only provided students with an opportunity to apply what they had learned in the classroom on a real stage, but also strengthened their confidence, teamwork, creativity, and adaptability. It is hoped that students will continue to embrace future English activities with enthusiasm, challenge themselves to achieve even greater success, and contribute to a more dynamic and inspiring English-learning environment at the school.
