Chung Ling Private High School recently held its annual English speech contest on April 7, 2023 from 12:30 to 3:00. The competition was divided into three groups: Group A, Group B, and Group C. Participants in Group A were from the senior high school group (F4, F5, S1, S2 & S3). Participants in Group B were from Form Two & Form Three (F2, F3, J2 & J3). Group C included students from the first year of junior high school (F1 & J1).
The purpose of this competition was to discover talented students through the competition. While some contestants forgot their words due to nervousness, others walked onto the stage confidently. Overall, the performances were good, but contestants who forgot their words should practice more. After the competition, the judges provided small comments to all the contestants, encouraging them to work harder and practice speaking more frequently. The judges also agreed that participants should strive to excel in all aspects of the contest.
